Article 1 Definitions
The definitions of terms used in these Regulations shall be as follows:
1. “Exhibition” refers to the relevant exhibition organized and managed by the Organizer.
2. “Organizer” refers to Korea Trade Fairs Ltd., located at Suite 710, 750 Gukhoe-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea.
3. “Exhibitor” refers to any company, institution, organization, or individual whose application has been approved by the Organizer upon submission of the Application Form and payment of the participation fee.
4. “Application Form” refers to the application document submitted by the Exhibitor, which shall be deemed incorporated into these Terms and Conditions and subject to the Organizer’s approval.
5. “Exhibition Venue” refers to the premises where the Exhibition is held and operated by the Organizer or the venue owner.
6. “Exhibition Space” refers to the area and location allocated by the Organizer as specified in the Application Form.
7. “Participation Fee” refers to the amount payable by the Exhibitor to participate in the Exhibition, exclusive of taxes.
8. “Force Majeure” refers to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either the Organizer or the Exhibitor, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, war, government regulations, or damage to the Exhibition Venue.
9. “Materials” refers to all content provided by the Exhibitor, including logos, company information, product descriptions, and related materials.
Article 2 Application for Participation and Payment of Participation Fees
1. Participation shall be confirmed upon submission of the Application Form, payment of the deposit (50% of the total Participation Fee) within seven (7) days, and approval by the Organizer.
2. The balance payment shall be paid no later than ninety (90) days prior to the opening date of the Exhibition. In the event of cancellation within thirty (30) days prior to the opening date, the Participation Fee already paid shall not be refunded. (Cancellation and reduction shall be subject to Article 7.)
3. If the Exhibitor makes payment to an account other than the account designated by the Organizer or fails to comply with the payment deadline, the Organizer may terminate the contract, and any amount already paid shall not be refunded.
4. If the Applicant or Exhibitor is unable to pay the deposit or balance within the designated period due to unavoidable circumstances, the Applicant or Exhibitor shall submit an official written request to the Organizer in advance stating the reasons. The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, grant an additional payment period if the reasons are deemed reasonable.
5. Participation Fees shall be subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) at the rate of 10% in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act of the Republic of Korea. Non-residents and foreign corporations shall also be responsible for payment of VAT. The Organizer does not guarantee whether the Applicant or Exhibitor qualifies for a VAT refund, and any application and submission of supporting documents for VAT refund purposes shall be the sole responsibility of the Applicant or Exhibitor.
6. In the event of delayed payment, the Organizer may charge interest at the rate of fifteen percent (15%) per annum and may terminate the contract after issuing two (2) written notices.
Article 3 Allocation and Use of Exhibition Space
1. The Organizer shall allocate Exhibition Space based on the order of application, exhibit category, and other operational considerations. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the location or size of the Exhibition Space for the efficient operation of the Exhibition without compensation.

2. The Exhibitor shall not assign, transfer, sublicense, or share the Exhibition Space with any third party without the Organizer’s prior written consent.
3. Installations within the Exhibition Space shall not exceed the approved height limitations and must comply with the drawings and regulations approved by the Organizer. Non-flammable materials shall be used.
4. The Exhibitor shall conduct promotional and business activities only within the assigned Exhibition Space. If excessive noise or other activities cause disruption to other exhibitors, the Organizer may take corrective actions including suspension of electricity supply or closure of the booth without liability for any resulting damages.
5. Any heavy exhibits must be approved by the Organizer in advance, and the Exhibitor shall implement all necessary safety measures, including load distribution.
6. Any property remaining in the Exhibition Venue after the dismantling period may be disposed of by the Organizer at the Exhibitor’s expense and responsibility.
Article 4 Obligations of the Exhibitor
1. The Exhibitor shall ensure that booth personnel are present at all times during the Exhibition and shall comply with all rules and regulations of the Organizer and the Exhibition Venue.
2. The Exhibitor shall not conduct promotional activities outside the assigned booth, distribute printed materials outside the designated area, generate excessive noise, or bring hazardous materials into the Exhibition Venue. Violations may result in immediate removal from the Exhibition.
3. The Exhibitor shall not use excessive sound equipment, amplifiers, LED displays, or lighting effects within the booth without prior approval from the Organizer.
4. The Exhibitor shall obtain all necessary approvals, certifications, customs clearances, and permits related to its exhibits or services in advance. The display of illegal products is strictly prohibited.
5. The Exhibitor grants the Organizer the right to use photographs, videos, and audio recordings taken during the Exhibition for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation.
6. The Exhibitor shall not disclose confidential information to third parties and shall bear full responsibility for any sale, exchange, refund, or transaction relating to its exhibits.
Article 5 Insurance and Liability
1. The Exhibitor shall obtain adequate insurance coverage for exhibits and activities during the Exhibition period. The Organizer shall not be responsible for such matters.
2. In the absence of insurance coverage or in the event of loss or damage, the Exhibitor shall bear full responsibility, and the Organizer shall not be liable for theft, damage, or loss of exhibits.
Article 6 Modification or Cancellation of the Exhibition
1. The Organizer reserves the right to change the schedule, venue, scale, or cancel the Exhibition due to Force Majeure. In such cases, the Exhibitor shall not be entitled to claim damages or raise objections.
2. If the Exhibition is postponed and rescheduled within twelve (12) months, the existing contract shall remain valid without refund.
3. If the Exhibition is cancelled without postponement, the Exhibitor may choose either a refund of the Participation Fee paid or transfer of the participation to the next edition of the Exhibition.
Article 7 Penalties for Cancellation or Reduction of Exhibition Space
1. If the Exhibitor cancels all or part of the contracted Exhibition Space, the Exhibitor shall notify the Organizer in writing, stating the reasons for such cancellation or reduction.
2. If the Exhibitor cancels participation or reduces the Exhibition Space after payment of the deposit, the Exhibitor shall pay liquidated damages in accordance with the following schedule within fifteen (15) days after notification. The Organizer may deduct such liquidated damages from the Participation Fee already paid, collect any deficiency from the Exhibitor, and refund any remaining balance to the Exhibitor.
Period / Liquidated Damages (VAT excluded)
• From application date until ninety-one (91) days prior to the Exhibition opening date:
50% of the total Participation Fee and reduced portion
• From ninety (90) days to thirty-one (31) days prior to the Exhibition opening date:
70% of the total Participation Fee and reduced portion
• Within thirty (30) days prior to the Exhibition opening date:
100% of the total Participation Fee and reduced portion
3. The Organizer may terminate the contract in the event of non-payment of Participation Fees, violation of regulations, or serious misconduct, and no refund shall be made in such cases.
Article 8 Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be finally settled by arbitration conducted by the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) in accordance with its arbitration rules. The arbitral award shall be final and binding upon both parties, and litigation before a court shall not be permitted.
Corporate Information & Personal Data Usage Agreement
Our “International Education & Career Fair Korea” and “International Emigration & Investment Fair Korea” highly value the protection of users’ personal information. In order to provide quality services and ensure smooth exhibition operations, the Company intends to collect and use personal information as follows.
1. Items of Personal Information to be Collected
For the purpose of smooth exhibition operation and service provision, the Company intends to collect the following information:
Collected Information:
Preferred exhibition region, preferred participation category, company name, address, telephone number, fax number, email address, contact person’s title, contact person’s name, and mobile phone number.
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
The collected information shall be used for the following purposes:
• Provision of free visitor admission opportunities
• Provision of exhibition-related information and event guidance services
• Delivery of newsletters and marketing information related to future exhibitions, including via SNS and SMS
3. Retention and Use Period
Personal information shall be retained and used until the purposes of collection and use have been fulfilled. If the data subject withdraws consent or requests to opt out of receiving communications, such information shall be destroyed without delay.
However, where retention is required under applicable laws and regulations, the information shall be retained for the legally prescribed period and destroyed thereafter.
Third-Party Disclosure Consent for Corporate Information and Personal Data
As a general principle, the Company shall not use users’ personal information beyond the scope disclosed to and agreed upon by the user, nor disclose such information to any third party without the user’s consent. However, in order to provide better services, the Company may provide personal information to third parties with the user’s consent as follows.
Recipients of Personal Information
1. Creative MICE Co., Ltd.
(As a delegated registration service provider, information may be shared with this company for the smooth registration process and identity verification related to the Exhibition.)
2. Korea Exhibition Industry Promotion Association
(Information may be shared with the relevant exhibition promotion association for exhibition certification and statistical analysis for the development of the exhibition industry.)
3. The International Education & Career Fair Korea / International Emigration & Investment Fair Korea (www.uhak2min.com) may mutually provide and share personal information and related usage information with its affiliated website, Korea Metal Week (www.korea-metal.com). Matters concerning such use shall be governed by the terms of use and privacy policy of each respective website.
Items of Personal Information Provided
Company name (organization), name, department, position, mobile phone number, contact number, fax number, postal code, email address, fields of interest, occupational classification, visitor source, and related information.
Purpose of Use of the Provided Information
• Provision of exhibition-related information
• Objective verification and statistical analysis of exhibitions
Retention and Use Period
The personal information shall be retained and used from the date of consent until the purpose of collection and use has been fulfilled.
However, personal information may be provided without separate consent in the following cases:
• Where the user has given prior consent
• Where disclosure is required pursuant to applicable laws and regulations or upon a lawful request from investigative authorities or government agencies in accordance with due legal procedures
